Deacon 2007: Almost here!

(2006-12-30) TheoLogic Systems is pleased to announce the renaming and imminent release of its new Deacon 2007 Parish Management System. Originally named "Deacon 2006", the product has been renamed to better reflect the new technology employed in this ground-breaking Orthodox Christian software product. It will also better match the naming system used for the Deacon software line. All current users with upgrade certificates for Deacon 2006 will receive the 2007 version, and all other existing users will qualify for the Deacon 2007 upgrade at the normal rates.

Deacon 2006: Getting Ready for Windows Vista

(2006-08-29) TheoLogic Systems has briefly delayed the release of the final Beta version of its new Deacon 2006 Parish Management System due to last-minute changes in the database architecture required to make the product compatible with the upcoming Windows Vista operating system. Microsoft recently announced that the new OS will not support Microsoft's own MSDE (Microsoft Data Engine), which until now was the foundation of the Deacon database technology. TheoLogic is upgrading its database to the Microsoft's new SQL Server Express technology, which in addition to Vista compatibility and other improvements, will mean that all Deacon 2006 users must be operating on Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Vista or higher. Windows 98 and Windows Me will no longer be able to run Deacon.

The company thanks the many users waiting patiently for this new release and considers the brief delay necessary to ensure a smooth transition to the new OS and to provide its users with the best possible introduction and long-term use for this exciting new software.

New TheoLogic Systems Web Site Launched

(2006-08-21) In preparation for the launch of its new Deacon 2006 Parish Management System, TheoLogic Systems, Inc., has launched a completely redesigned web site with an all-new look and a more streamlined, easily-navigated approach.

Among the new features is a completely new User Forums section, allowing users a forum for discussing ideas, hints and suggestions about using TheoLogic Systems software. Visitors to the site will also continue to have access to the TheoLogic Systems Online Store for purchasing software and the Help Desk for Technical Support.

Deacon 2006 Nears Release

(2006-08-01) It's almost here! The long-awaited release of Deacon 2006 is just around the corner. Completely rebuilt from the ground up, this exciting new version of the best-selling Parish Management software for Orthodox Christian churches will be available soon for public download.
